With its 14th release, Analogue ushers in a new era with a fresh visual identity and more frequent drops. ANA014 features a powerful V/A compilation with standout tracks from Héctor Oaks, Obscure Shape, Endlec, and label head Jerm, blending unique styles into a cohesive Techno collection.

We caught up with Héctor Oaks to talk about the idea behind his latest track, his creative process and how his connection with Analogue and its founder Jerm led to this fiery V/A release.

Hello Héctor, how are you?

Touring hard, playing fuego, enjoying the ride.

Can you tell us more about the idea behind your track?

Wanted to make a dancefloor track, jacking that tells a story has some different parts, but keeping it technoid for the dark basement-like environments.

Could you reveal some insights about it’s production?

I actually recorded it in my old studio in Berlin thanks to my old colleagues who lend it to me in one go my visits for a show, was done in a couple of hours using some synths they have there and a stolen vocal from YouTube he he.

And how did you connect the V/A & the label ?

Have been playing analogue records for years went to play to Athens and met Jerm. He has been a friend so when he asked me was sort of obvious I was gonna say yes. This release is fireeeeee.
